The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will release job notifications in different phases. Candidates can apply for various posts through the official website when the applications open.
According to the announcement, this recruitment drive will take place in the financial year 2026-27. Some recruitment processes have already started, while others will be announced soon.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that more than 81,000 posts will be filled. He added that this will create job opportunities for young people and help build a stronger, more modern police force in the state.

Selection Process
Candidates will first have to take a computer-based test (CBT), which will be an objective-type exam. It will include subjects like general knowledge, Hindi, reasoning, and numerical ability. For sub-inspector posts, there will also be questions related to law and the Constitution.
After the CBT, results will be announced. Those who pass will go through a physical standard test, followed by a physical efficiency test. After that, candidates will have a medical examination and document verification.
