The Prime Minister said India already has the digital public infrastructure, teachers, and talent needed to make the initiative possible. By bringing these resources together, the government plans to create a network through which young people across the country can access free coaching, he said.
"The competition surrounding coaching classes has become a major burden for poor and middle-class families. Every parent feels that if they haven't sent their child to a coaching class, they are somehow falling behind or missing status. Keeping their concerns in mind, to save thousands of crores in household expenditure, keep children close to their families, and ease economic strain, we have decided to provide free online coaching for youth across various examinations using our Digital Public Infrastructure and top teaching talent," the Prime Minister said.
AI Training For 1 Crore Youth

"In recent days, we organised the AI Impact Summit. The expansion of AI is happening very rapidly. From the Red Fort, I want to make an announcement for the youth of our country. We have decided that, over the coming year, we will work towards providing AI skills training to 1 crore youth so that the youth of our country have the capability to lead in the world of AI as well," The Prime Minister said.
