CBSE Class 12 Re-evaluation Result Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Sunday announced that it has started releasing, in phases, the results of Class 12 verification and re-evaluation applications. The board stated that more than 87 per cent of the total applications received have already been processed and declared. "The outcomes for the remaining candidates will also be released in phases and the entire process is expected to be completed soon," it added.

Candidates can check their revised marksheets on the DigiLocker platform at results.digilocker.gov.in. According to the board, all complaints relating to missing pages, missing supplementary answer-books, missing graphs, missing maps, blurred pages, answer books evaluated with different sets of marking scheme, or similar issues have been carefully examined and addressed.

According to CBSE, the board has undertaken the re-evaluation and verification process with utmost care and with a clear focus on students' interests. Experts from IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur were roped in for continuous monitoring and hand-holding, it added.

Giving details on the policy framed to address the concerns of private students in Gulf countries, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said for the subjects for which examination could not be held, the performance will be assessed based on the marks obtained by the private candidate in Class 10 and the last-attempted Class 10 board examination.
He said under the new policy, subjects for which the examination was cancelled, the marks would be computed as 40 per cent of theory marks scored in the Class 10 board examination and 60 per cent of theory marks scored in the last attempted Class 12 board examination.

A bench of Justices S V N Bhatti and Vipul M Pancholi was told by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Centre and the CBSE, that a fresh all-India policy has been framed to address the concerns of similarly situated students affected by the cancellation of examinations in the Gulf countries due to the regional conflict.
Mehta said that under the new policy, which was notified on June 21, a distinct formula for evaluating the private students appearing for the board exam was developed.
