It was a hazy this morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 19.2 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky would remain partly cloudy throughout the day with rain and thundershowers likely to occur on Friday night or Saturday morning," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the Met office, maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 29 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 am was 90 per cent while the visibility stood at 2,000 metres.
Thursday's maximum temperature settled at 31.1 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 19.2 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average.
