New Delhi:
For the second consecutive day today, the Capital woke up to a cold and foggy morning.
Dense fog over some other parts of north India caused disruption of rail services with at least 35 trains running behind schedule.
However, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a clear day awaits the Capital. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 27 degree Celsius.
The minimum temperature was recorded two notches above average at 15 degrees, which the weatherman attributed to fog.
"Fog traps heat, so the temperature is slightly higher," an IMD official said.
On Sunday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 27.7 degrees. (With IANS inputs)
