Thiruvananthapuram:
A probe has been ordered into an incident where a ritual was allegedly performed inside the premises of Civil Services Academy in Thiruvananthapuram on behalf of a senior official to surmount the difficulties he was passing through.
State Education and Culture Minister MA Baby visited the state-run academy on Thursday night after he was informed of the ritual performed in the premises.
What greeted him on his arrival was a bell-metal lamp, bunches of plantain, flowers and other articles used for the ritual in one of the rooms of the institute.
"Certain unusual things have happened. The director of the academy has been asked to probe and submit a report urgently," the Minister said.
