Mumbai:
A major mishap was averted at the Mumbai airport last night when a Jet Airways flight which was about to land, was told to go around, to allow an Indigo flight to cross the main runway.
The incident was reported at 9:04 pm. The Air Traffic Control (ATC) told the Jet flight to abort landing at the last moment and change its course as the Indigo plane has taken a wrong turn and was about to enter the main runway.
The Indigo plane had entered runway instead of turning into taxiway.
