Wife Terminated From Job, Husband Thrashes Employer In Bengaluru

Serving a termination letter to an employee landed an employer in the hospital in Karnataka after the employee's husband launched a physical assault.

The incident, dated March 28, was reported from a salon in the Avalahalli locality of North Bangalore. The husband of the terminated employee allegedly created chaos and led an assault on the salon owner.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), the incident occurred last Saturday, at around 5:40 pm, at the Skin Shine Unisex Salon.

The accused, identified as the husband of former employee Sushma, is alleged to have entered the salon along with a group of four to five associates and attacked the owner, Mohan Kumar.

The complaint states that the group used abusive language, issued threats, and physically assaulted Mohan Kumar. When his wife, Srija, attempted to intervene, she was also allegedly manhandled and attacked.

The dispute is said to have stemmed from earlier tensions following Sushma's termination from the salon.

CCTV footage of the incident has been recorded and is expected to aid the investigation.

A case has been registered at the Avalahalli Police Station against the accused. Police have launched a search operation as the suspects are currently on the run.

Police are trying to ascertain the sequence of events that led to the altercation, and further investigation is underway.
