VinFast, the Vietnamese automobile manufacturer in India, is all set to expand its lineup with the launch of the VF MPV 7 in India tomorrow. Once launched, the model will join the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs in the country and compete against models such as the Kia Carens Clavis EV and the BYD eMax 7. Pre-bookings for the vehicle began on April 2 at a token amount of Rs 21,000. In the future, the model will also get a version for the fleet operators.

The upcoming electric MPV is comparable in dimensions and seating capacity to VinFast's Limo Green. It measures 4740 mm in length, 1872 mm in width, and 1734 mm in height. However, the MPV 7 is specifically designed for individual consumers, distinguishing itself with high-end features such as integrated lighting at the front and rear, keyless entry, and larger 19-inch alloy wheels. In contrast, the Limo Green targets commercial applications and offers a more basic set of specifications.

The design of the exterior reflects VinFast's signature style, featuring slim LED headlights and connected taillights. Inside, customers can expect practical elements like a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, USB-A and USB-C ports for charging, a height-adjustable driver's seat, leatherette upholstery, and adjustable steering for improved ergonomics. It is also equipped with features like a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), all-disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and braking and stability support.

VinFast VF MPV 7: Range, Powertrain

The MPV 7 is equipped with a 60.1 kWh battery with a claimed range of over 500 km on a single charge that powers a front-mounted electric motor. This setup is anticipated to deliver approximately 150 hp and 280 Nm of torque, along with three driving modes and regenerative braking options: Low, Medium, and High. The electric vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in less than 10 seconds, making it suitable for city driving as well as family trips on the highway.
