Triumph Tiger 950 Snapped Testing With Radar System; Here's What It Reveals

Triumph seems to be preparing a fresh addition to its adventure lineup, with new spy shots hinting at the Tiger 950. Expected to succeed the Tiger 900, these images provide the first glimpse of what could be the next-generation model. The prototype showcases notable upgrades, including radar units positioned at the front and rear, a redesigned frame, and what appears to be a larger engine. Together, these changes suggest Triumph is readying a more advanced and capable machine to replace its well-regarded Tiger 900.

Fresh spy shots reveal the upcoming Triumph Tiger 950 fitted with radar units at both ends. While the larger Tiger 1200 already uses rear radar for lane-change assist and blind-spot monitoring, the 950 could expand the package with features such as adaptive cruise control and forward collision alerts.

The front radar appears neatly tucked beneath the windscreen, while the rear module sits above the number plate holder. This integration suggests Triumph is preparing to bring advanced rider-assistance systems into its mid-range adventure lineup.

The upcoming Tiger 950 is expected to inherit blind-spot monitoring and lane-change assist from Triumph's larger adventure models. With the addition of a front radar sensor, the bike could also introduce features such as adaptive cruise control and forward collision alerts.  There is speculation that Triumph may go further by offering rear collision warnings, designed to alert following motorists - a system already seen on some other radar-equipped motorcycles.  Together, these upgrades point to a more comprehensive rider-assistance package, expanding safety and convenience across Triumph's adventure range.
