Tata Tiago EV Facelift Snapped During TVC Shoot, Launching On May 28: Full Details

Tata Motors is all set to launch the updated Tata Tiago EV and standard Tiago facelift in India on May 28, 2026. Ahead of the official launch, the new Tata Tiago EV has now been spotted completely undisguised during a TVC shoot in Mumbai, revealing fresh design details and updated interiors. The facelifted Tata Tiago EV gets noticeable cosmetic changes while still retaining the familiar hatchback silhouette that buyers already recognise.

Tata Tiago EV: Exterior Design Updates

One of the biggest highlights of the updated Tata Tiago EV is the redesigned front fascia. The hatchback now gets sleeker LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, giving the car a much sharper and more modern appearance. Unlike the petrol-powered Tiago, the Tata Tiago EV features a closed-off grille with unique vertical detailing, helping it stand apart visually. The bumpers have also been redesigned and now include sporty vertical inserts near the edges.

The vehicles spotted during the TVC shoot were seen in bright pastel shades like light green and pink, suggesting that Tata Motors may be targeting younger urban buyers with the facelifted Tata Tiago EV. At the rear, the Tata Tiago EV receives updated LED tail lamps connected through a black trim element for a cleaner and wider look.

Tata Tiago EV: Cabin And Features

Inside the cabin, the Tata Tiago EV gets a major overhaul. The dashboard now features a layered design along with a floating infotainment touchscreen and a new digital instrument cluster with EV-specific graphics.

The facelifted Tata Tiago EV also comes with a two-spoke steering wheel featuring Tata.ev branding. Other feature additions are expected to include dual wireless chargers, rear AC vents, USB Type-C charging ports, a 360-degree camera, and updated upholstery. The gloss black centre console and fabric-finished dashboard elements also make the cabin feel more premium than before.

Tata Tiago EV: Battery And Range

Mechanically, the Tata Tiago EV is expected to remain largely unchanged. The hatchback currently comes with 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh battery pack options, offering claimed ranges of 250 km and 315 km, respectively. However, reports suggest that Tata Motors could introduce a small battery and efficiency improvements with the updated Tata Tiago EV.
