Ola S1 X+ 5.2 kWh With 4680 Bharat Cells Launched At Rs 1.30 Lakh; Delivers 320-Km Range

Bengaluru-based Ola Electric has announced the launch of the S1 X+ 5.2 kWh, powered by its indigenously developed 4680 Bharat Cell. It is launched at an introductory price of Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom) and will be revised after April 15, 2026. What's unique to the 4680 Bharat Cell is Ola's attempt to bring its in-house cell technology to the mass market. 

The brand says the in-house cell tech will make long-range EV scooters accessible to the market. Ola S1 X+ is powered by an 11 kW mid-drive motor with an integrated MCU. The electric scooter has a top speed of 125 kmph. It also comes equipped with Brake-by-Wire and front disc brakes. The 5.2 kWh variant offers a range of 320 kilometres on a single charge.

Ola Electric Spokesperson said, "With S1 X+ 5.2 kWh, we are taking our 4680 Bharat Cell to the mass market at scale. The same technology platform we built for our most advanced products is now powering a scooter designed for much wider EV adoption. This is exactly what vertical integration enables - the ability to innovate deeply, scale quickly, and bring our best technology to more and more customers, faster. S1 X+ 5.2 kWh is where performance, range and scale come together, and is another important step towards making EVs accessible to every Indian."

Ola Electric currently offers a portfolio of Gen 3 S1 scooters and Roadster X motorcycles. The premium S1 Gen 3 portfolio includes S1 Pro+ in 5.2 kWh and 4kWh configurations, and S1 Pro in 4 kWh, and 3 kWh configurations. The company's mass market offerings include Gen 3 S1 X+ (4 kWh), and Gen 3 S1 X (2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh), respectively.

Ola Roadster motorcycle portfolio comes in two battery configurations: 4.5 kWh and 9.1 kWh configurations. The Roadster X, available in 2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh configurations, respectively.
