The iconic British motorcycle marque Norton appears closer to a major comeback as fresh spy shots of its upcoming adventure-touring model, the Atlas GT, have surfaced without any camouflage. The brand, now owned by India's TVS Motor Company, is preparing a renewed global presence with a lineup of new motorcycles, and the Atlas GT seems set to lead the charge.

The latest set of images reveal the motorcycle's front fascia in full detail. This is not the first time the Atlas GT has been spotted testing in India, earlier sightings had shown the bike from the rear on public roads near TVS' facilities.

Seen in full view, the Atlas GT carries a commanding stance and a distinctly modern design. The model sports 17-inch alloy wheels, differentiating it from the standard Atlas variant, which uses wire-spoke rims. Up front, the middle-weight adventure motorcycle gets a bi-projector LED headlamp setup with a unique DRL signature, along with cornering lights and puddle lamps. A tall windscreen and gold-finished USD forks, likely adjustable for compression and rebound, complete the premium adventure aesthetic.

Further details visible include muscular fuel tank shrouds, twin front disc brakes (with ByBre calipers), and a single-piece seat designed for touring comfort. Twin exhaust headers and a large radiator hint at a well-cooled and possibly potent engine.

Under the skin, the Norton Atlas GT is expected to run a 585cc parallel twin-cylinder engine with a 270-degree crank, reportedly delivering around 70 bhp. The feature list is expected to include equipment such as an 8-inch TFT touchscreen, smartphone connectivity, keyless start, and a 6-axis IMU supporting rider aids like lean-sensitive ABS, traction control, slide control, and cornering cruise control.

The Atlas will be one of four motorcycles set to revive the Norton legacy under TVS ownership, alongside the Manx, and Manx R. The motorcycles were unveiled by the brand at EICMA giving a hint at the future of the brand.
