Mahindra XUV 7XO has been in discussions for a while now, with a series of teasers hyping up the audience. Destined to carry forward the legacy of the XUV700, the SUV is set to make its debut on January 5. Before the event, the vehicle was recently spotted under a white cover, hiding most of its design elements. The picture seems to have been taken at a dealer's yard while we wait for it to be unveiled in all its glory.
In the spy images, a new alloy wheel design can be seen, inspired by the aerodynamic alloys found on the XEV 9S. According to the video, these alloy wheels measure 19 inches, while the current XUV700 is equipped with either 17-inch or 18-inch alloy wheels.

Additionally, it's evident that the headlights feature an updated projector configuration, which is expected to improve overall illumination. The new headlight design, incorporating dual barrels, is similar to that used in the Scorpio N. The Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) has been redesigned; it no longer extends downward but now takes on a U-shape. Furthermore, the fog lights have been repositioned and will showcase a new design.
Meanwhile, the interior details of the SUV have already been revealed in multiple teasers released by the automaker. Based on these clips, the SUV will come with a triple-scree setup inspired by born electric SUVs of the automaker. Furthermore, it will get new upholstery for the dashboard along with a host of new features. Specifically, the feature list will include a 540-degree camera, screens for the rear seat passengers, and more.

Under the hood, the upcoming Mahindra XUV 7XO will retain the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines used on the outgoing XUV700. Both these units can be paired with either a manual or automatic transmission. The top-end variant of the XUV700 comes with an all-wheel-drive configuration, which will likely be carried forward to the XUV 7XO.
