Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited has introduced its latest electric three-wheeler, the Udo, designed with an airplane-inspired aesthetic that sets it apart visually. Positioned in the growing EV three-wheeler segment, the Udo directly rivals Bajaj's GoGo P7012, another strong contender in the space. Both models aim to deliver efficient and eco-friendly urban mobility, but they differ in terms of pricing, specifications, and performance.

Mahindra has launched the Udo at an introductory price of Rs 3,58,999 (ex-showroom), which is slightly lower than its standard tag of Rs 3,84,299. This aggressive pricing strategy makes it more accessible to buyers seeking a cost-effective EV solution. In contrast, Bajaj's GoGo P7012 is priced at Rs 3.83 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it closer to Mahindra's standard price point. For budget-conscious customers, Mahindra's introductory offer could be a decisive factor.

Under the hood, the Udo is powered by an 11.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, rated IP67 for durability, paired with a PMS motor delivering 10 kW of peak output and 52 Nm of torque. Bajaj's GoGo P7012, meanwhile, comes with a slightly larger 12 kWh battery but produces lower peak output at 7 kW and 40 Nm of torque. This gives Mahindra's Udo an edge in terms of performance figures, particularly torque delivery.

Mahindra claims a real-world range of 200 km, supported by an ARAI-certified figure of 265 km. The Udo also offers three driving modes - Range, Ride, and Race - allowing drivers to balance efficiency and performance. In Race mode, the Udo can achieve a top speed of 55 km/h, making it versatile for both city commutes and longer trips. Bajaj's GoGo P7012, on the other hand, promises a range of up to 251 km and a top speed of 50 km/h. It also provides four driving modes - Eco, Power, Climb, and Park Assist - catering to varied driving conditions.
