Mahindra & Mahindra has given a subtle confirmation via a teaser that the Scorpio-N will soon be updated with a Level 2 ADAS suite. It is to be noted that the SUV was launched by the brand in 2022 and has since received subtle updates and special edition versions. These changes were aimed at improving the vehicle's appeal for consumers. With the addition of ADAS to the feature list, the brand is further advancing the same agenda. It is backed by the fact that this is one of the "in-demand" features and is being offered on multiple modern vehicles.

The Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) brings a suite of safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and more. In Mahindra's lineup, the set of features is already available on models like XUV3XO, XUV700, and the recently launched Thar Roxx. To ensure occupants' safety, these features are also available on electric vehicles of the brand, i.e., the BE6 and XEV 9e.

Along with this, the Mahindra Scorpio-N is expected to get a panoramic sunroof in this iteration. Until now, it has been on sale with a single-pane sunroof. Apart from that, the list of features on the current iteration includes an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system enabling wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto-fold ORVMs, six-way power adjustable driver seats, wireless charger, steering-mounted controls, and more.

From a mechanical standpoint, there will be no changes to the Mahindra Scorpio N. It will still come with the 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, offering options for both manual and automatic transmissions. Currently, the prices of the SUV start at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and reach up to Rs 25.15 lakh (ex-showroom) for the most expensive variant. Hence, the SUV takes the space between the Thar Roxx and the XUV700 in the brand's lineup.
