
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has announced its sales numbers for June 2025. Based on the data revealed by the brand, HMSI has registered sales of 4,29,147 units. This translates to a year-on-year decline of 17.3 percent when compared to the 5,18,799 units sold in June 2024. The number includes the domestic sales of 3,88,812 units and exports of 40,335 units. In the first quarter of FY26 (April-June 2025), HMSI's total sales amounted to 1,375,120 units, which included 1,228,961 units sold domestically and 146,159 units exported.
The month was important for the brand, as it saw the launch of the 2025 Honda XL750 Transalp. The bike was introduced to the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), extending the range of big bikes offered by the brand in the Indian market. This includes models like the CB650R and the CBR650R, representing the brand in the middle-weight sports segment.

HMSI is also working on advancing its electric vehicle strategy. To do so, the brand has inaugurated its first EV Concept Store in Bengaluru, while also introducing a new Battery as a Subscription (BaaS) plan for the Activa e: electric scooter. The BaaS for the model comes at Rs 678/month and is aimed at making the electric scooter more accessible for consumers.
In the realm of racing, the young riders from Honda showcased their talents during the first round of the 2025 IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup CB300F that took place in Chennai. Additionally, Honda was involved in international MotoGP events in Aragon, Italy, and the Netherlands throughout the month.
