Honda is gearing up to roll out the CB1000F SE on a global front. The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer previously showcased the CB1000F Concept, seeking inspiration from the Universal Japanese Motorcycle of the mid-70s. However, the brand has now shared a teaser image of its new concept called the Honda CB 1000F SE, ahead of its official reveal at the Suzuka 8 hours race in Japan.

According to the sources and the teased image, the Honda CB1000F SE borrows most of the components and frame from the Honda CB 1000 Hornet. However, the Honda CB1000F SE has a cafe racer-like stance. Also, another noticeable highlight is that the CB1000 Hornet gets a raked subframe for a higher rear seat, while the CB 1000 F SE seems to have a near-flat subframe.

While the exact engine specs of the Honda CB1000F SE have not been confirmed yet, it is to be seen if the brand tunes the Hornet's power mill or just places it in the concept bike as it is. The Honda 1000 Hornet has a 999 cc engine that produces a peak power and torque output of 155 bhp and 107 Nm, and the Honda CB1000F SE is also expected to deliver the same configuration.

The brand has been tight-lipped about the launch of the Honda CB1000 F SE. It can be expected to ditch the Indian market, looking at the low interest in the cafe racer segment. However, upon launch, the Honda CB1000F and the CB1000F SE will be among the rarest 4-cylinder bikes with retro design globally.
