Ducati North America has issued a recall for some units of the 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 and the Ducati Streetfighter V2 motorcycles manufactured in 2025 and 2026 due to an issue with the installation of the fuses in the ABS. The recall affects just over a thousand motorcycles that may have been equipped with swapped fuses between the ABS pump and the ABS control unit.

According to Ducati's recall documentation, a supplier error during assembly may have caused the 25A fuse meant for the ABS pump and the 10A fuse intended for the ABS control unit to be interchanged along with their fuse holders. This mix-up could lead to improper operation of the ABS and, in some cases, increase the risk of wheel lock-up during braking.

Production records indicate that the affected 2025 Panigale V2 motorcycles were built between February 4 and May 23, 2025. The affected 2025 and 2026 Streetfighter V2 models were produced between March 31 and June 12, 2025. Ducati confirms that motorcycles manufactured after June 13, 2025, have been inspected to ensure the correct installation of both fuses and fuse holders and are not part of this recall.

Approximately 1,016 motorcycles fall under this recall, representing roughly 1.2 percent of production. Ducati notes that riders may notice an "ABS Error" message or an illuminated ABS warning light on the instrument cluster if the issue occurs. In particular, a reversed fuse setup could cause the smaller 10A fuse to blow, disabling the ABS pump and compromising braking performance under certain conditions.

Ducati North America will notify its dealer network about the recall between December 15 and 22, 2025. Owners will be asked to contact authorized Ducati dealerships to have their motorcycles inspected. If technicians find the fuses incorrectly installed, the necessary corrections will be made free of charge.
