Sports Minister M S Gill on Monday congratulated Sushil Kumar on becoming the first Indian wrestler to clinch a gold medal at the World Championships in Moscow.
"Sushil Kumar, with this historical win in the World Wrestling Championship, has made the country proud. His achievement will inspire others also to bring laurels for the country," Gill said in his congratulatory message.
Sushil got the gold medal in 66kg freestyle category on Sunday.
