Chennai:
A former woman AIADMK MLA today joined the state unit of AAP and is likely to contest the coming elections, the party said today.
"Ex-AIADMK MLA Bader Saeed joined AAP TN," the party's state unit spokesperson M Lenin said.
She has joined the Aam Aadmi Party and is "likely to contest in the coming Lok Sabha elections as an AAP candidate," he said in a release here.
An advocate by profession, Ms Saeed had represented the Triplicane constituency in the Tamil Nadu Assembly during 2006-11.
