Sundarbans: Tiger tranquilised to secure area

Kolkata: A Royal Bengal Tiger was tranquilised on Friday after it wandered into a village in the Sunderbans in South 24 Parganas district.

The tiger swam across the Olion canal and entered a school playground and thereafter went to a paddy field at Kishorimohanpur village in Kultali area, DFO S Bandopadhyay said.
