Kashmir:
After nine days of continuous curfew in Kashmir valley, a breather came on Sunday morning when curfew was lifted after separatists called for normalcy. The curfew has been lifted only for the day.
However, this is viewed as another attempt by the separatists to create a parallel system in the region.
Earlier, in an unusual turn of events, hardliner separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani had made an appeal for restoring peace. (
