Guwahati: In October 2008, serial bombings in Assam killed over 80 people and terror struck on the first day of 2009 with three serial blasts.
But it seems people have had enough and on Monday targetted their anger at the administration for failing to prevent such attacks.
While mobs broke into a frenzy at the site soon after the blast, the dead and those injured were rushed into the hospitals of the city.
"I was going past that area in a taxi when the blast took off. I have injured my arm," said a victim.
Husband and child of Bobita, a Guwahati resident, were also at the blast site.
"I have located my husband but my child is still missing," said Bobita, who fails to control her tears.
Assam bleeds again and under the debris of each successive blast, the lives of those affected often gets forgotten.
