New Delhi: The Delhi government today said it will table the budget for remaining nine months of the current financial year in the Assembly on June 26.

The budget session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly is scheduled to be held from June 23 to June 30. "The Delhi government has decided to table the budget on June 26 in the Assembly and thereafter, general discussion on the budget will be held," a senior government official said.

The economic survey will be tabled on June 25, he added. According to the official, the government will also make a provision of fund to continue electricity subsidy which will come to an end this month.

Sources said that around two-three bills are expected to be tabled in Assembly during the eight-day Budget Session. In March, the Delhi government had presented a vote-on -account in the Assembly for April to June to run their several financial schemes and announced plan to spend a total of Rs 37,750 crore in 2015-16.

In the vote-on-account, the AAP government had allocated Rs 21,500 crore for non-plan expenditure while the plan outlay was around Rs 16,250 crore.

The proposed non-plan expenditure is around Rs 3,000 crore more than last year's allocation while plan outlay would be Rs 100 crore less than last year's outlay.
