Bijnor:
A man has been arrested for allegedly burning his wife to death at their house in Afzalgarh area last week, police said today.
The incident took place in Shivpuri village on April 9 when Sunita Devi (33), a mother of two, returned from her parents' house after eight months, Superintendent of Police Dalveer Singh Yadav said.
Following an altercation between the two, the accused Hridesh Kumar sprinkled kerosene on her and set her ablaze and fled from the spot, he said.
Kumar was arrested yesterday, and further investigation into the case is on, he said.
