Actor caught in Bangalore sex racket never met her clients twice

Bangalore: Actor Yamuna who was caught by the Bangalore police for her alleged involvement in a sex racket at a five-star hotel never offered her services for a second time to the same client, a police source has said.

"Yamuna would 'date' her client only once so that if she was ever caught, she could claim consensual sex," added the source.

Not only Yamuna, Surakshit, her agent, never allowed clients a second time even with his other girls. Surakshit regularly 'updated' his client list, and even had contacts with call girls from other cities such as Mumbai and Delhi.

Since he knew that this was a risky business, Surakshit took extreme precautions. Another one of his 'failsafes' was that he operated only during weekdays. He would always book rooms in 3 and 5 star hotels under his name. To this, the services were offered only for a few hours so that no one ever got suspicious.

On his advice, Yamuna never saw the same client twice, even if she was offered an exorbitant amount.

In a raid last Thursday, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested eight girls along with Surakshit, and the client, Nandkumar. Cops also seized two cars belonging to Surakshit, and recovered Rs 2 lakh from Nandkumar, suspected to be the payment for the actress.

Yamuna and the client were produced before the 1st ACMM judge on January 20 and remanded to custody, but are out on bail. Surakshit was also produced before court and has been remanded to police custody until January 28.

Lakshman, ACP, CCB said, "At the time of raid, Yamuna said 'sorry', indicating that she was in this business knowingly. We caught her red-handed."
