Mumbai:
Three people are reported to be injured after a car runs them over in Andheri West in Mumbai. Two of the injured are reported to be in a serious condition. The incident happened near Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital last night. The driver had fled from the scene of crime.
Two of the other injured who were admitted to the hospital were discharged later.
Part of the number plate of the car was recovered from the spot. With the the help of the Regional Transport Office or RTO, the police have identified the owner. They are now trying to ascertain if he was driving the car.
The police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving against unknown persons.
