Thane:
A 19-year-old boy from Thane near Mumbai has been arrested by the police for allegedly raping his younger sister.
According to the police, the teenager used to sexually abuse the 14-year-old girl while their parents, who work as labourers, were away for work. He had reportedly also threatened her of "dire consequences" if she complained about him to anyone.
Yesterday, the girl was rushed to a local hospital after she complained of severe pain in her stomach. Doctors at the hospital have told her parents that she is in the fifth month of her pregnancy.
