What Mufti Sayeed Told Ram Madhav Before Forming BJP-PDP Government
In an exclusive conversation with NDTV, BJP leader Ram Madhav speaks about the transformation of Jammu & Kashmir over the past decade, including the seven years since it became a Union Territory.
Madhav highlights the surge in tourism in Srinagar and says the situation in Jammu & Kashmir has improved significantly compared with 10 years ago. He also recalls a conversation with former J&K Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed at the time of the BJP-PDP coalition government, revealing what Sayeed told him about placing the destiny of the people of J&K in the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government.
"We have bettered the destiny of Jammu and Kashmir," Madhav says, describing what he calls a major transformation in the region.
