Nepal’s Foreign Minister tells NDTV that the country is “open for business” and wants to make it easier for Indian companies to invest and operate in Nepal. He highlights energy, tourism, technology, infrastructure and connectivity, along with high-value agriculture and herbal products, as key sectors for greater India-Nepal cooperation. He also points to Nepal’s hydropower potential, the existing framework for exporting 10,000 MW of electricity to India, rising Indian tourist arrivals and the rapid growth of Nepal’s technology sector.
