India-Nepal Defence Ties: Nepal FM Says Kathmandu Open To Finding Solutions

Speaking at the NDTV World Anviksha Summit in Kathmandu, Nepal Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal discussed the long-standing defence ties between India and Nepal and the recruitment of Nepali nationals into the Indian and British armies. He said recent changes in India's policy have halted the enlistment of Nepali nationals in the Indian Army, while Nepal is also reviewing the framework governing the relationship. Khanal said Kathmandu is ready for dialogue and to work with India towards solutions.
