In an exclusive conversation with NDTV, BJP leader Ram Madhav addresses the controversy surrounding the temple in Uttar Pradesh, describing the incident as an "unfortunate aberration" rather than a wider or continuing problem.
Madhav says the issue was identified by the temple administration itself, after which those allegedly involved were apprehended and arrested. He says the temple administration has since taken additional steps to strengthen oversight, including plans to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to supervise its functioning.
"It was a one-time aberration," Madhav says, asserting that the temple is now "very well managed."
