Turbulent times in Maldives after GMR shown door in airport contract

GMR has claimed a $800 million compensation from Maldivian government, but the ex-president Mohammed Nasheed under whose regime the contract was awarded to the Indian company, says the government won’t be able to pay that amount. A turbulent triangle now emerges as according to him, the only way large damages can be paid is through a country like China. A special report from the Maldives.
