PM Modi inaugurates Suvarna Teertha Mantapa At Sri Krishna Matha In Karnataka's Udipi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Suvarna Teertha Mantapa, located in front of the Krishna sanctum, and dedicated the Kanaka Kavacha (golden cover) for the sacred Kanakana Kindi-a window through which the saint Kanakadasa is believed to have had a divine darshan of Bhagwan Krishna. Sri Krishna Matha in Udupi was established over 800 years ago by Sri Madhvacharya, the founder of the Dvaita Vedanta philosophy.
