An NDTV ground investigation has uncovered serious irregularities in several teacher training colleges across Madhya Pradesh, raising questions about the quality and credibility of teacher education in the state.
Our investigation found institutions that allegedly existed largely on paper, with missing classrooms, inadequate faculty, poor infrastructure, and campuses that did not match official records. In some cases, colleges were difficult to locate or showed little evidence of regular academic activity despite remaining part of the teacher education system.
