Kishtwar Flood | Army Completes Bailey Bridge Restoring Connectivity With Chisoti Village
Engineers from the Indian army along with local administration and personnel from the Border Roads Organisation completed the construction of a bailey bridge across a river stream on Sunday, restoring connectivity to Chisoti village and the Machail Mata shrine in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. The area was the scene of a flash-flood triggered by a cloudburst, which left a trail of destruction, flattening a makeshift market, a community kitchen for devotees taking part in a pilgrimage to the shrine and numerous houses, on Thursday.
