A political row has erupted over PDP leader Abdul Kabir’s description of slain Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani as a “martyr”. Kabir has defended his remarks, citing freedom of speech. The BJP has accused the PDP of appeasing terrorists, arguing that the statement hurts the families of terror victims.
