J&K Waqf Board Faces Opposition Over Proposal To Address Social Issues During Friday Prayers
A political row has erupted in Jammu and Kashmir over a Waqf Board discussion on bringing greater uniformity to social issues addressed during Friday prayers. Waqf Board chairperson Darakhshan Andrabi has clarified that no written order has been issued, saying the matter was discussed following suggestions from clerics.
