It's All About Art And Sculptures

This show will feature stories of art and the artistic process, we speak to many men and women, who light a creative fire around the world. On On Art we will also offer art news and upcoming events for the week. This week, we get moving, with sculptures by KS Radhakrishnan that evoke lightness and suspension, despite their heavy materials. The artist walks us around his neighborhood of Chhatarpur Pahari and explains the ways his work is a love letter to the area. Then, we visit Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, where yoga and art come together in a unique exhibition in honor of International Day of Yoga. Finally, On Art pays tribute to historic modern artist KG Subramanyan, who passed away on 29 June.
