National Conference president Farooq Abdullah has denied any dissent within the party after meeting disgruntled MLAs in Srinagar. He said their concerns were genuine and would be addressed, some immediately and others over time. However, the dissenting legislators have reportedly set a 15-day deadline, demanding a complete cabinet overhaul and removal of all eight existing ministers. They have also sought the removal of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's adviser Nasir Aslam Wani. The leadership faces pressure to resolve the internal differences.
