Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is holding a crucial meeting with dissenting National Conference MLAs following discontent over a recent cabinet reshuffle. At least 18 of the party's 41 legislators have demanded sweeping reforms, greater accountability and changes in government functioning. Their demands include the removal of CM's adviser Nasir Aslam Wani and withdrawal of the PWD portfolio from Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chowdhury. Thirteen dissenting MLAs have turned up for the meeting with Omar and Farooq Abdullah.
