Now, a video going viral online captures the rough treatment of luggage at an airport and the scenes are disturbingly similar to garbage bags being tossed around. While airport authorities have time and again attributed the damage to “transit errors”, the video from Chicago's O'Hare Airport baggage room offers a shocking insight. The suitcases were tossed onto a conveyor belt with force, and upon landing, they were flung, twisted, and finally dropped.

The video was captioned with a shocking declaration, “LEAKED FOOTAGE FROM O'HARE AIRPORT BAG ROOM — THIS IS WHAT THEY DO TO YOUR LUGGAGE WHEN YOU'RE NOT LOOKING.” The note further added, “Suitcases getting LAUNCHED full force like garbage. No hesitation. No care. Just straight impact.”

The video was widely shared online with social media users and frequent travellers, revealing how it confirmed their worst suspicions about baggage handling.
A user reposted the video, mentioning, “This is the same bag you trust with everything you packed… getting thrown like this. And airlines still charge you extra for it. This isn't a mistake. It's routine.”
The person adds, “So when your bag shows up cracked open, items missing, or completely destroyed… was it ever ‘lost'… or just handled like this the entire time? How many times has YOUR bag been treated like this?”
Another user wrote, "No wonder my suitcase was missing a wheel. When I picked it up it had only three."
