Bengaluru has quietly become a favourite among travellers. The city is often called the “Garden City of India,” and it is easy to see why. Parks, lakes and cosy neighbourhoods give it a relaxed vibe. Cafes, craft beer pubs, and cultural hubs make it feel lively yet laid-back. Whether you are exploring the colourful markets of Malleswaram, sipping coffee in Indiranagar, or enjoying a quiet evening at Cubbon Park, Bengaluru has a way of making life feel easy.

Amid this charm, a Russian woman named Yulia, who is married in India, recently shared her love for the city on Instagram. Strolling through Bengaluru's streets, she could not stop praising its lifestyle and climate. “If I could choose again the city I would want to live in India, my answer would be very clear: #NammaBengaluru,” she wrote.

Looking at all the major metros in India, Yulia felt that none could match Bengaluru's pleasant weather. According to her, Delhi and Jaipur winters feel “super cold,” while Chennai and Mumbai are “too hot.” Bengaluru, on the other hand, hits the sweet spot. “It is sunny, warm, green, and, as we say in Russia, the heat doesn't break bones,” she added.

Yulia also noticed how the city's weather has changed over the years. A decade ago, air conditioners were hardly needed, but now they have become common. Still, she described the Bengaluru weather as “just beautiful.”

Born in Siberia, where winters can drop to minus 50°C, Yulia said she “can't afford to complain” about Indian weather. Beyond comfort, she enjoyed the city's culture and nightlife. “I'm super glad to live in the pub capital of India and former paradise for retirement,” she said, ending her post with a wink to fellow locals, “PS No questions about traffic please.”
