- The marble waste dust particles (some of them are even smaller than 75 micrometres) can cause breathing difficulties. People with respiratory conditions are advised to take special precautions, such as wearing masks and avoiding staying here for long.
- Stay away from the water as it is contaminated with chemicals and can cause skin problems.
- No plants grow here. According to an alarming report from the Central University of Rajasthan, groundwater within a 6-km radius of the site has TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) levels up to 10 times the permissible limit, with high levels of fluoride and heavy metals.
