Anand Mahindra is known to share many travel-related musings on his X (formerly Twitter) handle. In July this year, he revealed the name of one of the destinations that was on his bucket list for December. He planned to visit Kadamakkudy in Kerala. Anand Mahindra noted that this serene spot is about half an hour from Kochi. On December 7, he revealed that he lived up to the "promise" he made to himself. After a business conference in the coastal city, he headed to Kadamakkudy "to see if it truly deserves its reputation as one of the most beautiful villages on earth."

Anand Mahindra described the destination as "clean and pristine." He noted the "tranquil kayals stretching as far as the eye can see, with small launches chugging gently along their waters." He was also left mesmerised by the "egrets and black cormorants, preening and drying themselves in the sun." Sharing glimpses of the views, he wrote, "Some landscapes don't just impress; they recalibrate you."
