According to a Central Railway release, the Ro-Ro (roll-on-roll-off) train with seven empty tankers left for the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant from Kalamboli goods yard in Navi Mumbai, about 40km from state capital Mumbai, at 8:05 pm.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday said industries will be "scared" to invest in the state if "harsh steps" are taken against them in the wake of the Visakapatnam gas leak incident. The deadly gas leak incident at the LG Polymers plant in Visakhapatnam earlier this month had claimed 12 lives.
