The ruling BJP on Sunday retaliated swiftly to the assault launched on Prime Minister Narendra Modi by Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi at a big farmers rally in Delhi. It has asked Mr Gandhi to apologise for "insulting the people's mandate."
