An engineer at the BrahMos Aerospace in Maharashtra, who was arrested on charges of espionage, had been in touch with suspected Pakistani intelligence operatives through fake social media accounts, the Uttar Pradesh police said. The police are trying to ascertain the extent of the breach and many others are also being questioned.

Two espionage rackets were busted today with arrests of five persons from Jammu and Kolkata. One of the men caught is suspected to be a handler from Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence, the other a personnel of the Border Security Force, police said. But it is yet to be discovered if the two networks are connected.
