One more person has been arrested here in connection with the multi-million dollar transnational scam originating from India-based call centres which cheated thousands of American citizens into paying off fictitious debts, taking the total number of arrests in the case to 75, city police said today.

A luxury car one was seized from Ahmedabad belonging to Sagar Thakkar alias 'Shaggy', main accused of multi-million call-centre scam, which he allegedly purchased from cricketer Virat Kohli, police said.

When the teams of Crime Branch of Thane Police were busy in raids in the call centre scam, its mastermind Sagar Thakkar alias Shaggy was fleeing the country in the early hours of October 5, officials said.

Investigators on Thursday told a local court they have identified transactions worth Rs 25-30 crore in the call centre scam here till now and that it will take a long time for them to arrive at the actual figure given the magnitude of the scandal.
